Guild Wars 2 Discussion. ANY mount without buying expansions. Hi, is there any way to get mount without buying any of the expansions? Payment methods are not supported in my region so my only option is getting them in game I guessthank you.

We didn't get the first expansion for 3.5 years. There's plenty to do in the base game that doesn't require an expansion. At some point, if you want to keep playing, you're going to want to buy an expansion. At the very least you can't get a permanent mount without one.

If you don’t enjoy the game without mounts, but don’t want to use up your level 80 pass, you can ask a level 80 player to help you get a mount regardless of your character’s level. This way, you can get the base raptor at low level, and you’ll have your level 80 pass for when it’s more appropriate to use.
Edit: just realized I didn’t touch on mounts. Those are tied to the expansions. Some are easy to get (majority are) but will usually need you to play through the story of the path of fire expansion. Alternatively the newest expansion end of dragons I believe you can unlock a few of the mounts without doing the story. Upgrade your account by purchasing an expansion to permanently unlock this mount. Use the raptor's high-speed running, long jumps, and tail spin skills to help you along your journey through Tyria. To further train the raptor's mobility and combat skills, accounts must have the Path of Fire expansion unlocked. Notes . Lasts for 10 hours.

Or buying later expansions means you have no

Soar the skies with the Griffon in Guild Wars 2! With the Path of Fire expansion, GW2 gained a bunch of different mounts to use. There’s a giant bunny, a hovering manta ray, a raptor, and even a teleporting dog. They all have their own uses and can be unlocked as you explore the Crystal Desert.

Expansions, short for expansion packs, are paid content upgrades for Guild Wars 2. They introduce new content exclusive to them, including story chapters, explorable zones, masteries, mounts, elite specializations, raids, and strike missions. They can be purchased as standalone products without needing to own the previous installments to 19. Posted October 10, 2017. The free to play player base are not at a disadvantage because there is no area in core Tyria that can't be reached without a mount. Mounts are a mechanic in PoF due to the structure of the new maps, and needing mounts to transverse the landscape and reach these areas.
Guild Wars 2's expansion Secrets of the Obscure promises to take players on a journey filled with mystery, intrigue, and hidden secrets. This expansion introduces a wealth of new content, from maps and storylines to a unique reward system that changes the way players are rewarded for their efforts. If you go to the 'story' tab in-game, you'll see all story chapters. The Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire stories come with the expansion set, however living world does not. Living world is constantly added content/stories to the game. If you log in when an episode if first released, you get it for free. Living World is tied to the expansion they launched with. You'd need Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire to get the Living World seasons that matter (3,4, and 5). Season 2 is just story. It's just not a good idea to buy Secrets of the Obscure unless you have most, if not all, the previous stuff. There just isn't much content in the newest expansion. Boards. Guild Wars 2. Free to play my ass xD. XerSilva 5 years ago #1. So we're lead to believe this game is free to play, but in reality its just another piece of crap trial version that pushes the "Buy our expansions" in your face 24/7, no matter what you try to do. You have limited access to trading post, no access to mounts, etc. Path of Fire – Springer Mount. The Springer is required at a certain point to continue the Path of Fire storyline, but is acquired through optional expansion content. This bunny mount has wWCb.
